HSC exam has started today at 10 am in Sylhet division with information and communication technology (compulsory) subject exam. Exam duration is three hours. 82 thousand 795 students from 309 institutions in four districts of Sylhet Education Board are participating in HSC this year. The Sylhet Metropolitan Police (SMP) has banned public entry within 200 yards of the center to avoid disruption of students' access to the center on exam day and for security reasons. In addition, restrictions have been imposed on some matters including gatherings and processions in Sylhet city and 28 examination centers in the city. Out of 87 examination centers in the four districts of the division, 33 in Sylhet, 22 in Sunamganj, 14 in Moulvibazar and 18 in Habiganj. The examination of the four subjects postponed from August 13 will be held after the examination of other subjects as per the previous routine. The Sylhet Education Board also released the new exam routine last week. In the new routine, the examination of four subjects will be held on August 13, 18, 20 and 22.
