Details

World Population Day is being celebrated today in Sylhet like the whole decade, keeping this principle in mind, using inclusive data to create a tolerant climate based on equality. World Population Day is being celebrated in 90 countries of the world since 1990 at the call of the United Nations. Basically, the purpose of celebrating this day is to prevent population explosion in the world and to keep the population under control at a sustainable level. Various public and private organizations have taken detailed programs on the occasion of the day. These include- processions, discussion meetings and awareness campaigns.
