The 41st death anniversary of the great Mukti Bahini commander-in-chief of Bangabi General Muhammad Ataul Gani Osmani is being celebrated in Sylhet today. GOC of 17 Infantry Division and Sylhet Area Commander Major General ASM Ridwanur Rahman, AWC, AFWC, PSC, paid tribute with military honors by laying wreaths. At this time, a smart team of Bangladesh Army paid tribute through a guard of honor. On this occasion, Bangabi Osmani Memorial Society Sylhet has taken up various programs. The programs include - Khatme Quran, Milad and Doa Mahfil, after which the grave of the deceased was visited after paying homage at the shrine of Bangabi Osmani. Later, prayers were held for the forgiveness of General Osmani's soul and the well-being of the country and the nation.
