Like the rest of the country, Sylhet is celebrating Anti-Terrorism Day today. The day is observed on June 13 every year to build a united social resistance against eve teasing. The victims of eve teasing are mainly women. Therefore, to ensure the protection of women, the Ministry of Education of the Government of Bangladesh declared 13th June as Anti-Evil Teasing Day. Since then the day has been observed nationally every year. Various public and private organizations have taken detailed programs on this occasion. Programs include - rallies, awareness discussions and campaigns
