World Youth Skills Day is being celebrated in Sylhet like the rest of the country with the theme "Youth skills for peace and development". The goal of this day is to highlight the important role of skilled youth in dealing with today's most challenging global problems. For creating employment, decent work and entrepreneurship. Realizing the importance of the strategy of developing the youth community, in 2014, the United Nations General Assembly announced the observance of July 15th every year as 'World Youth Skills Day'. In continuation of this, the day is being celebrated all over the world. On the occasion of the day, various public and private organizations detail. The program includes rallies, seminars and discussions.
