Working as promised: World Child Labor Prevention Day is being celebrated today in Sylhet like the rest of the country with the motto 'Stop Child Labour'. In 2002, the International Labor Organization first started celebrating the day. Their aim was to highlight the plight of children due to child labour. Various government and private organizations have taken detailed programs to celebrate the day. All these programs include rallies, discussion meetings and awareness campaigns.
