International Public Service Day is being celebrated today in Sylhet like the rest of the country. The day is celebrated every year to create awareness among all those involved in providing and receiving services. Generally, the overall development of a country depends a lot on the patriotism and awareness of service receivers and service receivers. In this context, the importance of observing International Public Service Day in the country is very high. In Bangladesh, the day was first celebrated as National Public Service Day in 2017. On December 20, 2002, the United Nations General Assembly decided to celebrate Public Service Day on June 23 every year, and as a result, in 2003, this day was first celebrated in various countries around the world. On the occasion of the day, various government and non-government organizations have organized various programs. These programs include rallies, discussions and awareness campaigns.
